PROJECT PROPOSAL
ON BUIDLING A PARISH HOUSE
AT ST. PAUL CHURCH COMPLEX OF PRINGGOLAYAN
KOTAGEDE YOGYAKARTA

I. NAME OF PROJECT
Building a parish House at St. Paul Church Complex of Pringgolayan, Kotagede, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia.

II. BACKGROUND
Factual conditions of St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan do need day-by-day Priest services. As a ministry, St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan develops very rapidly. Within 23 years since January 25th, 1986 St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan has got 22 Sub-Ministries and + 2.800 believers spreading within an area of about 7 km2.
An immediate Priest attendance cannot be realized since St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan does not have yet a parish house for the Priest to live in. As a further consequence, this Church Ministry cannot be a Parish as is supposed to be by The Arch Bishop of Semarang even though it has been more than enough to be an independent Parish administratively. Therefore, community believers of St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan together with their leaders, and the Parish Priest completely supported by the Arch Bishop Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo, Pr. decide to build a parish house at St. Paul Church complex of Pringgolayan on a piece of land available.
A thorough preparation, starting from August 7th, 2008 up to March 26th, 2009 is made. A committee on Building a Parish House of St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan is set up to be responsible for the whole process of the building.

IV. LOCATION AND TIME OF PROJECT
A. Location:
As is planned by the Masterplan Team, the Parish House is planned to be build on a piece of land of about + 412,5 m2 within the complex of St. Paul Church of Pringgolayan Kotagede Yogyakarta Indonesia. It is exactly to the East side of the church complex.

B. Time of Project:
It is planned that the project starts on May 1st, 2009 and completely lasts up to January 25th, 2010. It needs fairly long period of time due to the availability of the fund. It is worth nothing that the committee has just got about 30% of the total amount of money needed to build the house. The rest of the fund is supposed to be from the donators However, this time allotted is flexible adapting to the fund availability. The fund needed is sufficiently available, the time needed to finish the house can be shortened.

VII. PROJECT UNDER GOER
Considering the advice of the Parish Priest and due to efficiency, the building of the Parish House is managed by a Project Self-Under Goers, a sub contractor consisting of people belonging to the technical section in the committee.


VIII. CLOSING
The committee does realize that it is quite hard for the local believers to be responsible for the total amount of money needed to build the Parish House. This is mainly because most of the local believers are traditional community of which the main professions are peasants and low-class labours. This is why the committee does need donation.
